DK (Dorling Kindersley) Travel publishes illustrated travel guides known for rich storytelling, compelling visuals, and local recommendations.

Its “destination celebration” series covers countries, people, and culture, and the book I worked on, The Italian Way, reaffirms the allure and love travelers have for Italy, whether it’s a spread on aperitivo or Italian mythology.

As a contributor for the 224-page book (published in June 2025), I wrote eight sections, each between 230 and 900 words.

Essential Italy (Fodor’s Travel Guides, 2019-2026), author

Experts in travel for over 80 years, Fodor’s Travel, an imprint of Internet Brands, provides highly curated, award-winning travel information through its popular website, guidebooks, eBooks, and mobile apps.

Using my extensive knowledge of Italy, I’ve contributed to Fodor’s Essential Italy guidebooks since 2019, updating more than half a dozen books (Fodor’s Travel publishes a total of 300 print and eBook guides).

Florence & Tuscany (Fodor’s Travel Guides, 2023-2026), author

From the opening of the Vasari Corridor after a multi-decade restoration project to a secret room where the walls are scrawled with what some scholars believe to be the work of Michelangelo, I’ve added updates to Fodor’s Florence & Tuscany guidebooks based on my experience living in Tuscany and frequent reporting trips.
